Volleyball Recap: Rushville Beats North Decatur for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Rushville entered their tilt with North Decatur on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Chargers. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 3-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Rushville was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 22-25, 25-16.

Leading Rushville to victory were MACY BLEVINS and CHARLI MARCUM. BLEVINS had 13 digs and two aces, while MARCUM had ten digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Rushville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Rushville's record is now 4-0. As for North Decatur, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rushville will venture away from home to challenge East Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Decatur, they will head out to take on Franklin County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
