Football Recap: Cardinal Ritter College Prep's Win on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Cardinal Ritter College Prep had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Fort Zumwalt North Panthers with a sharp 38-13 victory. Considering the Lions have won seven games by more than 21 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Cardinal Ritter College Prep's seventh in a row) raised their record to 9-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.1 points on average over those games. As for Fort Zumwalt North, they moved to 10-2 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.
