Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Tianna Mcleod and Paisley Woods Lead Legacy to Victory

The Legacy Lions got the win against the Okeechobee Brahmans on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Legacy was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-18, 25-16.

Legacy was led to victory by Paisley Woods and Tianna McLeod. Woods had six digs and four aces, while McLeod had ten assists and seven digs. Those seven digs gave McLeod a new career-high. Lily Register also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good server: Legacy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They are 8-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Legacy's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Okeechobee, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Legacy will challenge Tournament Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Okeechobee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Martin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
