Volleyball Recap: Tianna Mcleod and Paisley Woods Secure Win for Legacy

The Legacy Lions got the win against the Okeechobee Brahmans on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Legacy was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-18, 25-16.

Leading Legacy to victory were Paisley Woods and Tianna McLeod. Woods had six digs and four aces, while McLeod had ten assists and seven digs. Those seven digs gave McLeod a new career-high. Lily Register also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Legacy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in four consecutive contests.

Legacy's record is now 9-4. As for Okeechobee, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

Legacy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Tournament Opponent on the 26th. As for Okeechobee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Martin County on the 30th.
