West Harrison had won three straight games dating back to last season and Jordan Stapleton did his part to make it four on Friday. The Hurricanes blew past the Gautier Gators 47-17 thanks in part to Stapleton, who rushed for 224 yards and three scores on only 15 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 129 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Although Gautier took the loss, they still got scores from Kenyan Walker and Devon Garrett.

West Harrison's record now sits at 3-0. As for Gautier, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 1-2.
