Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Armstrong). They came out on top against the Dinwiddie Generals by a score of 76-65 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Despite the loss, Dinwiddie still got an impressive performance from Madison Batts, who posted 30 points. The dominant performance gave Batts a new career-high in points. Carolina Berry was another key player, putting up 14 points.

The victory got Armstrong back to even at 4-4. As for Dinwiddie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Armstrong will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Atlee at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Dinwiddie, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Brunswick at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday.
