Capac hasn't had much luck against Peck recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Chiefs will face off against the Pirates. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Christina Howard was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. Liliana Uribe-Arce also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Capac always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .654. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Peck made easy work of Deckerville on Wednesday and carried off an 11-2 win. Considering the Pirates have won 15 games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryleigh Ureel made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, earning three runs.
