Basketball Game Preview: Hillsdale Falcons vs. Waynedale Golden Bears

Hillsdale hasn't had much luck against Waynedale recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Hillsdale Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the Waynedale Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m.

Hillsdale is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They lost 51-31 to Mansfield Christian.

Meanwhile, Waynedale posted their biggest win since January 25, 2024 on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rittman 57-3. Given the Golden Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 296th, while the Indians are ranked 745th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Waynedale and bumps their season record up to 7-7. As for Hillsdale, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Hillsdale was taken down by Waynedale 50-23 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Can Hillsdale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
