Softball Recap: Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Valley Christian managed to slip by The Bay School the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Vikings came up short against the Breakers on Tuesday, falling 11-1. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Vikings couldn't push the score so high this time.

Valley Christian now has a losing record of 2-3. As for The Bay School, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Valley Christian will welcome San Domenico at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. As for The Bay School, they will venture away from home to face off against University at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Red Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.08 runs per game on average), something the Breakers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
