Basketball Recap: Park School's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Maryvale Prep, Park School was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the Beth Tfiloh Warriors by a score of 41-28. That's more bragging rights for the Bruins, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Park School had a senior duo take command as Sophie Zirkin posted 15 points and Meredith White earned 12 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Zirkin has scored at least a third of Park School's points. Another player making a difference was Reese Delancey, who put up six points.

Park School's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-6. As for Beth Tfiloh, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Park School will take on Catholic in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Beth Tfiloh and Glenelg Country will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
