Football Recap: Victor Takes a Loss

Victor was the 58-29 winner over Webster Thomas when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Devils fell 26-13 to the Titans on Friday. While the Blue Devils didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Titans 7-0 in the first quarter.

Gus Pappajohn threw for 100 yards on 12 of 20 attempts. Kevin Booth was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards. On the ground, Nate Harris rushed for 44 yards.

Victor now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Webster Thomas, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Victor will take on Greece Olympia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Webster Thomas, they will square off against Webster Schroeder at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
