After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Columbia Academy, Rocket City was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Giles County Bobcats by a score of 5-1. This was a revenge game for the Rockets: when they faced off against the Bobcats on April 4th, they had to take a 17-0 defeat.

Rocket City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Briggs Brady, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run. Those two RBI gave Brady a new career-high.

Rocket City's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Giles County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-17.

Rocket City will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bobcats: the pair will be back at it again later today.
