Baseball Recap: Clyde Wins Going Away Against Willard

While Clyde put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Willard. The Fliers blew past the Crimson Flashes 14-0. The contest marked the Fliers' most dominant win of the season so far.

Colt Flores was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Adam Young also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Clyde always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got Clyde back to even at 4-4. As for Willard, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Clyde will head out to take on Perkins at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as the Fliers come in on three and the Pirates on five. As for Willard, they will square off against Vermilion at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
