Football Game Preview: Walnut Grove Warriors vs. North Oconee Titans + Official Tickets

Walnut Grove is 0-5 against North Oconee since September of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Warriors will challenge the Titans at 7:30 p.m.

On Friday, Walnut Grove was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 47-41 to Madison County.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Desmond Parker, who rushed for 140 yards and one TD. Cordelle Way was in the mix too, providing Walnut Grove with two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, North Oconee earned a 21-14 victory over Flowery Branch on Friday. The Titans haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

North Oconee's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Walnut Grove, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Walnut Grove took a serious blow against North Oconee in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, falling 68-3. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Warriors were down 48-3.
