Softball Game Preview: Midwest Central Raiders vs. Pawnee Indians

The Midwest Central Raiders will square off against the Pawnee Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing isn't great for Midwest Central: they have been struggling with 11 straight losses at home, while Pawnee has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road.

Tremont hit Midwest Central with a seven-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Raiders fell 10-7 to the Turks.

Ava Warner made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pawnee). They put the hurt on Nokomis with a sharp 17-4 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won six contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Midwest Central's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Pawnee, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.
