Softball Recap: North Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

North strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Life Prep Fire with a sharp 18-1 victory. That's more bragging rights for the RedHawks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ana Amador was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Amador was even better at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

In other batting news, Saige Fisher was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2025. Ruby Schmeidler was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

North was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .889. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .476 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

North's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Life Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: North beat the Fire by a score of 23-1 later that day.
