Basketball Recap: Perry Takes a Loss

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 48-41 to the Watonga Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Maroons of the 67-48 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Watonga, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.

Perry will be playing in front of their home fans against Woodward at 11:15 a.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Woodward's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six matches. As for Watonga, they will square off against Cashion at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cashion will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Watonga surely won't give up without a fight.
