Baseball Recap: ThunderRidge Takes a Loss

ThunderRidge suffered their closest loss since April 5, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of the Pueblo West Cyclones by a score of 8-6.

Kyle Zebroski was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. That stolen base was his first of the season. Nathan Pickett was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

ThunderRidge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Pueblo West, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season.

ThunderRidge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-7 loss against Cherokee Trail on the 29th. As for Pueblo West, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-3 win against Douglas County on the 29th.
