First Baptist put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by an 18-6 margin over the Texoma Christian Eagles. Fans of the Saints have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

The team relied heavily on Camila Rodriguez, who fired off two home runs, seven RBI, and four runs while going 4-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Kolbie Gillispie was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while going 4-for-4.

First Baptist was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .560. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .316 or higher in eight consecutive contests.

First Baptist pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Texoma Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, First Baptist will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Garland Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. The Swordsmen have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18 runs per game on average), something the Saints will no doubt try to take advantage of. Texoma Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
