Softball Recap: Chesterfield Comes Up Short

Chesterfield was the 7-4 winner over North Central when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Rams took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights on Tuesday.

Chesterfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for North Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chesterfield will face off against Hartsville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Foxes' pitching crew has only allowed 2.4 runs per game this season, so the Golden Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for North Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Buford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
