Newton is 8-2 against Wallkill Valley since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Braves will take on the Rangers at 4:00 p.m.

Newton fell victim to Warren Hills Regional and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 10-0 to the Blue Streaks. The loss put an end to the Braves' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Wallkill Valley got the win against Belvidere on Friday by a conclusive 10-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rangers.

Having lost for the first time this season, Newton fell to 2-1. As for Wallkill Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Newton beat Wallkill Valley 11-6 in their previous meeting back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
