Soccer Recap: Splendora Comes Up Short

Splendora lost to Porter back in March of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans.

Splendora's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1-2 and their overall record down to 11-3-4. As for Porter, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Splendora and Porter will both be playing Kingwood Park the next time they take the pitch. The Spartans will head out to face the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wildcats will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
