Volleyball Game Preview: Fenton Bison vs. Elgin Maroons

The Fenton Bison are taking a road trip to challenge the Elgin Maroons at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Fenton came up short against Glenbard East and fell 2-0. The Bison have struggled against the Rams recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Elgin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Streamwood.

Elgin started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 26-28, 25-12, 25-16.

Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-23. As for Fenton, their loss dropped their record down to 14-18.

Fenton beat Elgin 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April. Do the Bison have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Maroons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
