Volleyball Recap: Palmerton Comes Up Short

Palmerton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Northwestern Lehigh Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Bombers of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

While Palmerton was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Northwestern Lehigh's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-20.

Palmerton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Northwestern Lehigh, their victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Palmerton will take on Notre Dame-Green Pond at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northwestern Lehigh, they will face off against Pottsville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
