Chopticon has gone a perfect 10-0 against Great Mills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Braves will host the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chopticon is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maryland's top teams: Leonardtown, who was ranked fourth at the time (Chopticon was ranked fifth). The Braves came up short against the Raiders on Friday, falling 7-1. The matchup marked the Braves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Great Mills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 13-1 to La Plata.

Great Mills saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nikki Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chopticon fell to 15-1. As for Great Mills, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything went Chopticon's way against Great Mills in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Chopticon made off with a 17-2 win. Will the Braves repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
