Soccer Recap: Douglas Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Douglas had to start their season on the road on Saturday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Powell Panthers by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Douglas of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Powell has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Douglas wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 7-0 defeat against Cody on the 1st. As for Powell, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Lyman at 5:00 p.m. This will be Powell's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
