Volleyball Game Preview: Voyager Academy Vikings vs. Northern Durham Knights + How To Watch

The Voyager Academy Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Northern Durham Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Voyager Academy came up short against Research Triangle and fell 3-1.

Voyager Academy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Research Triangle work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 17-25, 25-15, 25-23.

Northern Durham had taken Riverside-Durham down for four straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Knights lost 3-0 to the Pirates.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-20, 25-15.

Northern Durham's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Voyager Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9.

Voyager Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Northern Durham in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
