Memorial Day unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 52-36 bruising from The Habersham School Patriots on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.
Memorial Day's loss came despite strong showings from Taurion Halloway and Lake Mills. Halloway posted 14 points, while Mills earned 12 points.
