Basketball Recap: Poteau Takes a Loss

Poteau was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 54-38 fall against the Eufaula Ironheads. The match marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Poteau's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Eufaula, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Poteau will welcome Heavener at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eufaula, they will host Keys at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
