Baseball Recap: Simsboro Comes Up Short

Simsboro lost against Choudrant on March 5th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Simsboro fell 7-2 to Choudrant. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chris Harrell made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two).

Simsboro's record now sits at 11-11-1. As for Choudrant, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. As for Choudrant, they will face off against Quitman at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
