Basketball Recap: Xavier Glenn's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tallavana Christian over Community Leadership Academy

Tallavana Christian lost against Community Leadership Academy back in December of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tallavana Christian Lion received a blow as they fell 76-60 to the Community Leadership Academy Lions. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game back in December of 2024 (55), the Lion still had to take the loss.

Several Lion players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Xavier Glenn, who posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Frederick Glenn, who earned 18 points.

Bowman Holloway continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Community Leadership Academy, going 7 of 12 on his way to 15 points and eight rebounds. Holloway is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Barrett Paniucki, who went 5 for 9 en route to 12 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Tallavana Christian and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Community Leadership Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Tallavana Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-34 win against Wakulla Christian School on the 10th. Community Leadership Academy has also already played their next matchup, a 64-61 victory against FAMU DRS on the 11th.
