Costa Mesa lost to Whittier Christian back in August of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 win over the Heralds.

Costa Mesa's victory bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Whittier Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10-1.

Costa Mesa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Northview on the 13th. As for Whittier Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Valley Christian at 6:15 p.m.
