Basketball Recap: Florida Coastal Prep Takes a Loss

On Thursday, the Florida Coastal Prep Spartans took a blow against the Milton Panthers, falling 61-28. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Leading Milton to victory were Sergio Robinson and Treymar Jones. Robinson went 5 of 8 en route to 12 points and five steals, while Jones went 5 for 10 on his way to 17 points and five steals. That's the most steals Jones has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was David Aboya, who posted eight points and six boards.

Florida Coastal Prep's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Milton, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-7.
