It's playoff time, and Mater Academy Charter had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed by the Coral Park Rams to the tune of 70-24 on Tuesday. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

Mater Academy Charter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emily Avila, who posted 18 points. That's the most points Avila has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Halle Jordan, who had 15 points.

Mater Academy Charter has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.2 points over those games. As for Coral Park, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Mater Academy Charter has already played their next contest, a 69-45 defeat against Homestead on the 6th. Coral Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
