Last Friday, Eastgate Life Academy took their contest with ease, bagging a 43-13 victory over Varsity Opponent. Eastgate Life Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Eastgate Life Academy found their leader in freshman Zoey Barrett, who went 8-for-18 on her way to 20 points in addition to six steals and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Barrett a new career-high in points. Neely Anderson was another key player, putting up seven points.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Eagles on Thursday. Philadelphia Christian School enjoyed a cozy 37-21 win over Appling Christian Academy.

Eastgate Life Academy pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.5 points over those games. As for Philadelphia Christian School, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-11.

Everything came up roses for Eastgate Life Academy against Philadelphia Christian School when the teams last played last Monday, as the team secured a 42-15 victory.
