Football Game Preview: Inlet Grove Hurricanes vs. ABF Academy Cowboys

The Inlet Grove Hurricanes will face off against the ABF Academy Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Inlet Grove will be strutting in after a win while ABF Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Inlet Grove is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their contest on Monday with ease, bagging a 62-0 victory over Palm Beach Christian Prep. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Hurricanes considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

Demetry Hudson had a dynamite game, throwing for 444 yards and six touchdowns while picking up 17.8 yards per attempt. Cornelius Terry helped Hudson out on the ground, rushing for 107 yards and a pair of TDs on only six carries.

Inlet Grove didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Chris Darealist.

Meanwhile, ABF Academy played a tough game last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Archbishop Carroll, falling 48-22. The Cowboys were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-8.

ABF Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Inlet Grove, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Inlet Grove took their win against ABF Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 26-0 score. Do the Hurricanes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cowboys turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
