Oak Mountain took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They never let the Northridge Jaguars onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Baker Williams looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched.

At the plate, Gabe Jones was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Zach Fitzgerald, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Coincidentally, Oak Mountain and Northridge will both be playing American Christian Academy the next time they take the field. Oak Mountain will head out to face American Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Northridge will head out to face them at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
