Basketball Recap: Freedom's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Freedom suffered their closest loss since February 12th on Wednesday. They fell just short of the T.C. Roberson Rams by a score of 49-46. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Dean Lowe continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for T.C. Roberson, shooting 50% from the field en route to 15 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Lowe's evening made it seven games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of TJ Conley, who posted 11 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Freedom fell to 2-1. As for T.C. Roberson, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Coming up, Freedom will venture away from home to challenge East Burke at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for T.C. Roberson, they will welcome East Henderson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams' defense better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 66.8 points per game this season.
