Jonathan Newton Delivers Electric Performance Vs Rappahannock County
Jonathan Newton was instrumental in extending The Covenant's winning streak to six on Friday. Newton turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 75 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, while also throwing for 46 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making seven total tackles (5.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Rappahannock County, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Newton. Newton rushed for 283 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries the last time he and the duked it out back in October of 2023.
