Soccer Game Preview: Greer vs. Daniel

The Greer Yellow Jackets will head out to take on the Daniel Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greer will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Greer's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Seneca by a score of 2-0. Given Greer's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 19th, while Seneca are ranked 76th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Juan Jose Tovar and Samuel Benavides scored both of Greer's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, while the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was Daniel who was credited with the win on Monday. The Lions got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Greenville's two.

Daniel now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Greer, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
