Basketball Recap: Elysian Fields Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Elysian Fields hadn't done well against Tenaha recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Yellowjackets walked away with a 58-48 win over the Tigers. Winning may never get old, but the Yellowjackets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Elysian Fields' victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Tenaha, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Elysian Fields is set to square off against their familiar foe Joaquin at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tenaha will take on rival Timpson at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
