Volleyball Game Preview: Apache Junction Prospectors vs. Superior Panthers

The Apache Junction Prospectors will head out on the road to challenge the Superior Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Apache Junction has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight defeats, while Superior will come in with three straight wins.

Apache Junction came up short against Seton Catholic on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Superior got the win against Hayden on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0.

Apache Junction's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Superior, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Apache Junction took their win against Superior when the teams last played back in September of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Prospectors since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
