Lafayette Central Catholic came into Wednesday's contest looking for another win against Guerin Catholic, but Claire Ducey wouldn't allow it. The Golden Eagles put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 3-0 victory on Wednesday with plenty of help from Ducey, who had four digs, two aces, and one block. Ducey is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 18 every time she's taken the court this season.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Guerin Catholic was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-14, 25-8.

Guerin Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-8.
