On ThursdayCoral Glades's undefeated season almost came to an end. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Pompano Beach Golden Tornadoes. Five seems to be a good number for the Jaguars as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Charlie Beaty tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Tyler Villanueva was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Brayden Hoskins was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases.

Coral Glades' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Pompano Beach, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Coral Glades will take on Cypress Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pompano Beach, they will square off against McArthur at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
