Softball Game Preview: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions

The Walnut Hills Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Walnut Hills and eight for Christian Academy-Louisville.

Lebanon hit Walnut Hills with a four-run sixth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles came up short against the Warriors, falling 11-0.

Walnut Hills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Birl, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Christian Academy-Louisville didn't have quite enough to beat Spencer County on Thursday and fell 7-6.

Christian Academy-Louisville's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Walnut Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
