Basketball Recap: Pikesville's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Pikesville came into Friday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down the Patapsco Patriots 60-45 on Friday. That looming 60-45 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Pikesville's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 3-7. As for Patapsco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-12.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pikesville Panthers take on the Carver A&T Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Pikesville is on a three-game streak of home losses, Carver A&T a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change. As for Patapsco, they will challenge Dulaney at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dulaney knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Patapsco likes a good challenge.
