Meanwhile, Pinkerton faced Spaulding in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Astros sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 win over the Red Raiders. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Astros.

Pinkerton's victory bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Bishop Guertin, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.
