Piedmont kept a clean sheet against Ponca City on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Ponca City. The result was nothing new for Piedmont, who have now won four contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Piedmont has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five matchups. As for Ponca City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-10.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Piedmont will square off against rival Union at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ponca City is set to challenge their familiar foe Stillwater at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
