Basketball Recap: Naches Valley Takes a Loss

Naches Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were dealt a 92-56 loss at the hands of the Wapato Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 280th, while the Wolves are ranked 78th).

Naches Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Wapato, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-6.

Naches Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wapato, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Zillah at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Zillah's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
