Softball Recap: Williamsburg Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bethel-Tate, Williamsburg was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Clermont Northeastern Rockets a 4-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Rockets: they've now won four in a row.

Williamsburg pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Clermont Northeastern, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.
